The LTE chipmaker Sequans Communications S.A. (NYSE:SQNS) Cassiopeia LTE-Advanced platform has been chosen by Baicells Technologies for two new CPE (customer premises equipment) devices for the global market, the company said.
The new devices, one providing LTE Cat 4 throughput and the other LTE Cat 6 throughput, will be part of the Baicells Atom product line of indoor and outdoor CPE.
The LTE-Advanced chip inside the new Baicells CPEs is Sequans´ Cassiopeia LTE-Advanced platform, compliant with 3GPP Release 10 specifications.
Sequans Communications provides single-mode 4G LTE semiconductor solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) and a wide range of broadband data devices.
Baicells Technologies makes wireless broadband access solutions based in Plano, Texas.
