Azul reports September traffic

Azul S.A. (B3: AZUL4, NYSE: AZUL), the largest airline in Brazil by number of destinations and departures, has announced its preliminary traffic results for September 2017, the company said.

Passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 15.0% compared to September 2016 on a capacity increase (ASKs) of 10.3%. As a result, load factor was 83.2%, 3.4 percentage points higher than in the same period last year.

Year-to-date load factor increased 2.5 percentage points over last year, reaching 81.8%. Domestic load factor was 80.0% and international was 90.2%.

Azul (B3: AZUL4, NYSE: AZUL) offers 755 daily flights to 104 destinations. With a fleet of 118 aircraft and more than 10,000 crewmembers, the company has a network of 197 non-stop routes as of September 30, 2017.
