Ireland-based Avolon, the international aircraft leasing company, has announced the placement of 15 Airbus A320neo aircraft with India-based Vistara, a full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, the company said.
Delivery of the aircraft will commence in June 2019 and continue up to August 2021. These are the first aircraft Avolon will have on lease to Vistara.
Avolon provides aircraft leasing and lease management services. Avolon is 70% owned by an indirect subsidiary of Bohai Capital Holding Co. Ltd., a Chinese public company, and 30% owned by ORIX Aviation Systems, a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation.
