Aviation Week wins journalism awards

Aviation Week Network has been honored as the best business-to-business media brand in the Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards, the business-to-business media equivalent of the Pulitzer Prizes, the company said.

This category recognizes Aviation Week´s overall excellence and its breath of offerings across all content platforms to serve its audience. Aviation Week also won the Grand Neal, which honors the most outstanding entry from among the winners in all categories.

Aviation Week celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2016. Over the years, Aviation Week has expanded into conferences, data and analytics. In its 100th anniversary year, Aviation Week and Boeing — which also celebrated its centenary — created a comprehensive online, searchable archive of the magazine´s articles, pictures, and advertisements.

The Jesse H. Neal Awards were created by Connectiv in 1955 to recognize and reward editorial excellence in business publications. They are named after Connectiv´s first managing director, who remained active in promoting the B2B industry throughout his life.

Connectiv, a division of SIIA, is the global business information association that accelerates innovation for leading and emerging content, data and technology companies.
