Aviat Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVNW) has received approximately USD5.0 million in orders from an electric utility organization in Texas to supply its Eclipse hybrid microwave networking platform, IRU 600 EHP and ODU 600 radios and ProVision management software, the company said.
The company will take advantage of the power radio IRU 600 EHP, using smaller antennas over longer hops, allowing the utility to migrate its backhaul network to full-IP, using Eclipse hybrid radios, as legacy TDM radios phase out of existence.
