Aviall, Fire Containment Concepts sign distribution agreement

Dallas, Texas-based Aviall, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, has signed an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement with Fire Containment Concepts to distribute its PED FIRE-SAFE product, the company said.

According to Federal Aviation Administration reports, there have been at least 152 air or airport incidents involving lithium batteries in devices carried as baggage or cargo.
