Boeing to showcase commercial and defense portfolio at 2019 Dubai Airshow

Chicago-based aerospace company Boeing (NYSE: BA) has announced it will exhibit its portfolio of commercial and defense products, services and technologies at the 2019 Dubai Airshow, beginning November 17-21, the company said.

The company´s presence and activities at the show will focus on safety, innovation and industry partnerships in the growing Middle East market.

At Boeing´s exhibit, visitors can immerse themselves in a 360-degree theater and learn more about the company´s capabilities throughout the product life cycle. An interactive display will highlight Boeing´s latest family of aircraft and services, as well as the company´s vision for the future of mobility. A seating mock-up and virtual reality experience will offer visitors a closer look at the 777X.

On the airfield, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will demonstrate the breakthrough capabilities and innovations that have made it a favorite of both operators and customers. RingCentral closes partnerships with Avaya

RingCentral, Inc. (NYSE: RNG), and Avaya Holdings Corp (NYSE: AVYA) have announced the closing of their previously announced strategic partnership, the companies said.

Avaya and RingCentral will introduce a new solution, Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral (“Avaya Cloud Office”), which will be the exclusive public Unified Communications as a Service (“UCaaS”) solution marketed and sold by Avaya.

Air Lease initiates sale of 19-aircraft portfolio to Thunderbolt III

California-based Air Lease Corporation has announced it has initiated the sale of a portfolio of 19 aircraft to Thunderbolt III Aircraft Lease Limited, the company said.

Thunderbolt III, a newly formed entity, has completed its equity and debt financing transactions. The aircraft comprise a mix of narrowbody and widebody jet aircraft that, as of August 31, 2019, had a weighted average age of 9.7 years and were leased to 18 lessees based in 15 countries. ALC and its Irish affiliate, ALC Aircraft Limited, will act as servicers with respect to the aircraft and ALC will act as portfolio manager. ALC estimates that the process of transfer and sale of the majority of aircraft will occur progressively during Q4 2019 and Q1 2020.

The Thunderbolt III structure included two series of Fixed Rate Notes and Equity Certificates. Approximately 15.6865% of the Equity Certificates were purchased by the anchor investor which is an investment vehicle managed by ITE Management LP and approximately 5% of the Equity Certificates were purchased by ALC.

Proceeds from the issuance of the Notes and the Equity Certificates will be used to acquire the aircraft, fund certain accounts for the Notes and pay certain expenses.

NASA has announced its Alabama-based Marshall Space Flight Center plans to collaborate with University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa on advance and in-space manufacturing, the company said.

Artemis is NASA´s path to the Moon and the next step in human exploration of our solar system. Through Artemis, NASA will land the first woman and next man on the Moon by 2024, assisted by innovative partners, technologies and systems. NASA is investing in innovative in-space manufacturing technologies — such as additive manufacturing, in-situ resource utilization, advanced welding — that will aid in developing the technological solutions needed to enable human missions to the Moon, Mars and other deep space destinations.

Marshall has worked with the University of Alabama through multiple Space Act Agreements since 2015.
