Australian Associated Press has reported the staff of Jetstar has announced it plans to take no further industrial action over the Christmas and New Year holiday, following the company´s recent cancellation of holiday season flights, the company said.
The cancellation came after union staff at the Australian airline continued rolling strikes across the country.
The Transport Workers´ Union is attempting to negotiate for additional rest breaks, a 12-hour break between shifts, guaranteed 30 hours a week and annual wage increases of 4 percent.
Ground crew have been striking over pay and safety concerns.
