AT&T invests USD60m to enhance local networks in Honolulu

AT&T (NYSE: T) has invested more than USD60 million in its Honolulu wireless and wired networks during 2013-2015 to drive upgrades to enhance reliability, coverage, speed and overall performance for residents and businesses, the company said.

The investments also enhance critical services that support public safety and first responders. In 2015, AT&T made wireless network upgrades in the Honolulu area, such as new cell sites.

AT&T Inc. provides entertainment, pay TV, mobile, high speed Internet and voice services. The company has TV customers in the US and 11 Latin American countries, and offers extensive global wireless coverage.
