Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. (ASUR) (NYSE: ASR) (BMV: ASUR) has reported a third quarter 2016 increase in passenger traffic of 8.58 percent, reflecting growth of 10.23 percent in domestic passenger traffic and 6.92 percent in international passenger traffic, the company said.
Total revenues for the company increased by 8.44 percent year-over-year to MXN2,355.76 million, reflecting increases of 15.78 percent in aeronautical revenues and 23.65 percent in non-aeronautical revenues, partially offset by the 22.12 percent decline in construction services revenues.
Commercial revenues per passenger increased by 14.21 percent to MXN94.57, with an increase of 20.46 percent in operating profit.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. (ASUR) is a privatized Mexican airport operator with concessions to operate, maintain and develop the airports of CancÃºn, and eight other airports in southeast Mexico, as well as a 50 percent JV partner in Aerostar Airport Holdings, LLC, operator of the Luis MuÃ±oz MarÃn International Airport of Puerto Rico.
