ASUR passenger traffic up 8.4% YoY

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: ASR; BMV: ASUR) total passenger traffic for February 2016 increased by 8.4 percent when compared to February 2015, the airline said.

This announcement reflects comparisons between February 1 through February 29, 2016 and February 1 through February 28, 2015. Transit and general aviation passengers are excluded. Please note that 2016 figures reflect an extra day of operation (February 29).

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste is a Mexican airport operator with concessions to operate, maintain and develop the airports of Cancun, Merida, Cozumel, Villahermosa, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Huatulco, Tapachula and Minatitlan in the southeast of Mexico, as well as a 50 percent JV partner in Aerostar Airport Holdings, LLC, operator of the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
