Anritsu introduces measurement option reducing time and cost of RRH, 4G network testing

Anritsu Company has introduced CPRI RF measurement capability in its E series of Site Master, Spectrum Master, and Cell Master handheld field analyzers that simplifies and lowers the cost of testing remote radio heads (RRHs) installed atop 4G towers, the company said.

The new option reduces network OpEx by allowing wireless carrier engineers, technicians and contractors responsible for wireless networks to identify interference sources on the radio uplink at ground level, reducing the use of unnecessary and costly tower climbing crews.

With the CPRI RF Measurement option installed, the E series analyzers provide users with a number of advantages when installing, maintaining and optimizing wireless networks. Its sweep speed is 10x faster than competitive solutions and allows the Anritsu solutions to capture all interfering signals, including intermittent interferers, easily.
