Ameriflight elects new board member

Ameriflight, LLC said that William J. Collins III has been elected to the company´s board of directors.

Collins brings over 25 years of executive management experience to the Ameriflight board with a strong background in engineering, operations and program management.

Previously he has held executive positions at General Electric Aviation Systems, Moog, Inc., Bell Technologies, Inc. and other aviation industry companies.

Founded in 1968, Ameriflight has grown from a small air charter and cargo service carrier to an international operator and the largest US 14 CFR Part 135 air cargo carrier, operating scheduled and contract cargo services in 43 US states, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Ameriflight is headquartered in Dallas, TX and has more than 700 employees including over 200 pilots and over 200 aircraft.
