Cloud Foundry Foundation, home of the industry-standard platform for cloud applications, has announced that American Airlines, has become the first airline to join the Foundation, the company said.
American joins the ranks of Google, Ford, Allianz, Swisscom and GE as a foundation Gold member. At this tier, American has the benefit of nominating a candidate for one of the two designated Gold seats on the Cloud Foundry board of directors.
