American Airlines adds Philadelphia/Orlando Melbourne service

American Airlines has announced it will offer nonstop flights to Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB) beginning February 16, 2019, the company said.

The Central Florida airport is conveniently located in the heart of the tourism region and is the closest airport to NASA rocket launches, Port Canaveral´s cruises.

The flights will depart Saturdays from Philadelphia on Embraer 175 jets with arrival time syncing with cruise ship early boarding time. Melbourne Airport Express offers nonstop shuttle service to the port.

Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB) serves nearly 500,000 passengers annually on American, Delta, Elite and Porter airlines. Its beachside three runways, 200,000 sq. ft. terminal and 40,000 sq. ft. US customs facility are convenient to Orlando, Kennedy Space Center and Port Canaveral cruises.
