Allegro DVT, a provider of video codec compliance test suites and hardware video IPs, has taken more than 100 orders for its HEVC test streams, the company said.
Allegro DVT also extended its HEVC test suites and unveiled new MV-HEVC and HEVC-SCC test streams which can now be used by manufacturers developing HEVC compliant decoders to validate the conformance of their implementation with these latest extensions of the HEVC standard.
The multiview extension of HEVC (a.k.a. MV-HEVC) is an extension profile of HEVC, which provides means to efficiently encode content with multiple camera views to allow new stereoscopic video applications. Allegro DVT´s MV-HEVC streams cover resolutions up Level 6.1 and comprise test sets to check multiple syntax elements of MV-HEVC.
