Alaska Airlines to serve to rosé wine this summer

House Wine Rosé will become a seasonal offering for purchase on most Alaska Airlines flights from July 1 through Aug. 31, the company said.

Made with grapes from the Columbia Valley, the Washington rosé will provide guests a new, crisp, light summer wine option in addition to the existing offerings from Canoe Ridge Vineyard and LaMarca in the main cabin and Chateau Ste. Michelle in first class.

Created in 2004 by Charles Smith, House Wine was designed with the goal of providing maximum quality and value in a minimalist package.

Alaska Airlines, together with Virgin America and its regional partners, flies 40 million customers a year to 118 destinations with an average of 1,200 daily flights across the United States and to Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica and Cuba.

With Alaska and Alaska Global Partners, customers can earn and redeem miles on flights to more than 900 destinations worldwide. Alaska Airlines, Virgin America and Horizon Air are subsidiaries of Alaska Air Group (NYSE: ALK).
