Alaska Airlines inaugurates non-stop service in three new markets this week: San Jose, California to Newark, New Jersey, which began on March 12; San Jose, California to Burbank, California beginning on March 16; and Portland, Oregon to Orlando, Florida also beginning on March 16, the company said.
Flights between San Jose and Newark and Portland and Orlando operate once a day. Flights between San Jose and Burbank are three-times daily.
Alaska Airlines and Virgin America along with their regional partners, fly 40 million customers a year to 118 destinations with an average of 1,200 daily flights across the United States and to Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica and Cuba.
