Alaska Air has reported reported GAAP net income of USD 217 million for the third quarter 2018, or USD 1.75 per diluted share, compared to net income of USD 259 million, or USD 2.09 per diluted share in the third quarter of 2017, the company said.
The company paid a USD 0.32 per-share quarterly cash dividend in the third quarter, a 7% increase over the dividend paid in the third quarter of 2017.
Alaska air repurchased a total of 582,942 shares of common stock for approximately USD 37 million in the first nine months of 2018.
The company generated approximately USD 1 billion of operating cash flow in the first nine months of 2018, including merger-related costs and other special items.
Alaska Airlines and its regional partners fly 44 million guests a year to more than 115 destinations with an average of 1,200 daily flights across the United States and to Mexico, Canada and Costa Rica.
