AirSatOne becomes reseller partner, support provider for ViaSat in-flight Internet service

ViaSat Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT), a global broadband services and technology company has announced that AirSatOne, a satellite communications (satcom) service provider for aviation, has become a new reseller partner for the ViaSat in-flight Internet service to large-cabin, business aviation aircraft.

AirSatOne will have immediate access to resell ViaSat´s range of business aviation products, and will offer competitive airtime packages and provide support for aircraft operators.

AirSatOne´s team that specializes in aviation satcom will provide support to ViaSat customers 24/7 onsite at the customer´s facilities, at the AirSatOne facilities located at the Spirit of Saint Louis Airport (SUS) in Chesterfield Missouri, or via phone.

ViaSat´s near-global, in-flight connectivity network for business aviation is a proven satellite network, in operation since 2008.

AirSatOne is a Satcom service provider that specializes in aircraft satcom, both for the cabin and the flight deck. Customers include business jet operators, VVIP, heads of state, and other government officials. Its government and special mission customers use its services on airborne assets used for border patrol, aerial surveillance, UAV operations, and other specialized activities.
