Airlines for America reports on White House meeting

CEOs representing Airlines for America (A4A) met with President Donald Trump and senior White House officials to discuss the critical role that US airlines play as drivers of the economy and job growth across the country, the organization said.

Topics discussed included jobs and economic impact, air traffic control modernization, regulatory reform, and taxation.

Airlines for America is the industry trade organization for the leading US airlines. It advocates on behalf of the American airline industry as a model of safety, customer service, and environmental responsibility, and as the network that drives the nation´s economy and global competitiveness.

Member carriers and their affiliates transport more than 90% of all US airline passenger and cargo traffic. the organization works collaboratively with the airlines, labor groups, Congress, and the Administration to improve air travel.
