Airlines call for joint coronavirus testing to bring back transatlantic travel

Associated Press has reported CEOs of several major airlines are requesting COVID-19 testing program to restore transatlantic travel, the news source said.

Major airlines, including Lufthansa and IAG, which owns British Airways, are urging the United States and the European Union to quickly restore transatlantic air travel by deploying a joint COVID-19 testing program.

If the US and EU governments agree to a joint COVID-19 testing program, a trip to Europe might be possible sooner than later.
