Airline to offer even more nonstop flights between upstate New York and New England

JetBlue (NASDAQ:JBLU), New York´s Hometown Airline®, has announced it is expanding in two of its biggest markets — New York State and Boston — with new daily nonstop service between Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), the company said.

The new service begins Thursday, January 4, 2018, and will operate year-round. Seats are on sale beginning today, with introductory fares starting at USD 59 one way (a). Travel must be booked by August 23, 2017.

JetBlue is Boston´s largest airline, with up to 150 daily departures, and Syracuse will be the 64th nonstop destination from Logan. Boston day trips have never been easier for Syracuse flyers, and travelers will also benefit from convenient connections to popular destinations across the US and throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

Boston service will also add a number of new connection options to top destinations like Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Nashville International Airport (BNA). Connections through Boston also offer customers more opportunities to take advantage of the airline´s growing premium Mint product on transcontinental flights in the United States and to seasonal destinations in the Caribbean. Additionally, JetBlue customers can take advantage of more than a dozen partnerships with international carriers offering destinations around the world.

This route also boosts JetBlue service in New York state. The airline serves eight airports throughout New York — Albany, Buffalo, Syracuse, Newburgh, Rochester, and Westchester County, as well as New York´s LaGuardia Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport. From JetBlue´s home at JFK´s award-winning Terminal 5 the airline operates nonstop flights more than 70 destinations across the US, Caribbean, and Latin America.

JetBlue will serve the route with its Embraer 190 aircraft which features comfortable two-by-two seating. All flights between Syracuse and Boston will include JetBlue´s award-winning service featuring the most legroom in coach (b); complimentary and unlimited name-brand snacks and soft drinks; 36 channels of free, live DIRECTV® programming on personal seatback televisions; and free Fly-Fi high-speed wireless Internet (c).
