Air Wisconsin enhances pilot hiring incentives

Air Wisconsin Airlines has improved its existing bonus program, increasing the value of cash bonuses to USD 57,000, including USD 8,000 for pilots type rated in a turbine aircraft, the company said.

When added to Air Wisconsin´s wage structure and benefits, these increases position Air Wisconsin as the regional airline industry leader in new hire pilot compensation.

During the first three years of employment, a new pilot will receive between USD 260,000 and USD 317,000 in total pay and elected benefits.

New hire pilots can expect to upgrade to Captain in 18 to 24 months–likely faster for pilots hired in the next several months–as Air Wisconsin dramatically expands its pilot group in connection with its recently announced long-term agreement with United Airlines.

Air Wisconsin Airlines, founded in 1965, operates approximately 350 departures per day system-wide to 26 states and three Canadian provinces in partnership with American Airlines.

Commencing Fall 2017, Air Wisconsin will begin a long-term, exclusive partnership with United Airlines to fly 65 CRJ-200 aircraft for United Express. With service to approximately 70 cities throughout North America, Air Wisconsin carries approximately 6 million passengers per year.
