Air Serbia has been named 2017 Airline Market Leader by Air Transport World (ATW), the media brand serving the information needs of the global airline and commercial air transport communities, the airline said.
ATW´s airline awards were established in 1974 to recognize excellence in the air transport industry and are well-respected across the sector for their integrity and independence, attracting hundreds of airline nominations every year.
The Belgrade-based airline was chosen by ATW´s editorial team for its progress during the last three years, as well as its innovative products and services, and sound business strategies.
From its Belgrade hub at Nikola Tesla International Airport, Air Serbia flies to 44 passenger and cargo destinations in Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and North America. The airline also offers long-haul and international destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Americas through its codeshare partners and its equity partner, Etihad Airways. The airline currently operates a fleet of 1 wide-body, 14 narrow-body, and 6 turboprop aircraft.
