Air New Zealand's Journey to Safety video gets 27m views

Air New Zealand has announced A Journey to Safety, its latest safety video, has been watched more than 27 million times since its release, the company said.

The video´s popularity makes A Journey to Safety the airline´s most viewed safety video.

The video, created in partnership with the Department of Conservation (DOC), highlights the impact of New Zealand´s biodiversity crisis through the story of a young girl named Janey and a lost CGI takahē known as Mr T.

DOC´s Threatened Species Ambassador said the reach of this safety video raises awareness of some of the work that goes into helping the taonga species in Aotearoa.
