Air China has been named as the 6th most powerful Chinese global brand builder on the the first “BrandZ Top 30 Chinese Global Brand Builders” ranking and report, the airline said.
The 2017 ranking lists the Chinese brands that have most successfully established a presence in overseas markets. BrandZ uses its analytics capabilities to analyze 270,000 global consumers´ perceptions toward over 560 Chinese and non-Chinese brands across seven countries (US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan) and nine product categories (consumer electronics, home appliances, airlines, ecommerce, mobile gaming, internet services, smart devices, cars, online fast fashion).
Air China Limited, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the provision of airline and airline-related services, including aircraft engineering services, air catering services and airport ground handling services, mainly in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. Its airline operations segment mainly comprises the provision of air passenger and air cargo services. The airline´s network covers approximately 1,330 destinations in over 190 countries. It operates in a total of approximately 360 passenger routes, including over 100 international routes, 10 regional routes and 240 domestic routes.
