Air China plans Beijing-Auckland service

Air China said it will start Beijing-Auckland nonstop service on December 10.

Air China said its new Beijing – Auckland service is part of its continuous move to expand its presence in Oceania.

On this route, by strategic partnership, Air China and Air New Zealand will cooperate in terms of international operations, networks and capacity. In 2015, China has become the largest market of exports and source country of imports for New Zealand. Meanwhile, New Zealand has become the most appealing destination for Chinese tourists.

By the end of Oct. 2015, Chinese tourists visiting New Zealand increased by 34.8 percent. When it comes to New Zealand as a destination, Air China and New Zealand will not only unlock the potentials of the tourism markets of Beijing, North China and Northeast China, but also solidify Air New Zealand´s position in the regional markets of Shanghai and East China, offering more travel options to Chinese travellers to New Zealand.

The flights CA783/784 are operated seven times a week. The outbound flight departs from Beijing at 00:40 and arrives in Auckland at 18:10. The inbound flight departs from Auckland at 20:00 and arrives in Beijing at 04:30.
