Visual intelligence company Edgybees has announced it has been awarded its largest contract by AFWERX, to integrate reality enabled software platform into current USAF technology, the company said.
Edgybees´ computer vision technology, in the form of its augmented reality (AR) software solution Argus, will integrate with the US Air Force´s systems to bolster situational awareness in complex operational scenarios.
Edgybees is one of 21 small businesses slated to receive four-year, fixed contracts with the combined worth of USD 550+ million through AFVentures´ Strategic Financing (STRATFI) program, including more than USD 100 million in Air Force funding, over USD 100 million in SBIR funds, and more than USD 350 million in private investment.
