Aeromexico reports 5.4% YoY increase in passengers transported in February 2017

Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: AEROMEX) transported 1,459,000 passengers in February 2017; a 5.4% year-on-year increase, the airline said.

International passenger numbers increased by 6.6%, while domestic passenger numbers increased by 4.8%.

Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers, increased by 9.4%, year-on-year. Aeromexico´s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers, increased by 5.7%, year-on-year.

Aeromexico´s February load factor was 75.9%, an increase of 2.6 p.p. compared to February 2016. February 2017 had 28 days, compared to 29 days in February 2016.
