Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: AEROMEX) has reported second quarter 2016 revenues reached MXN12.4 billion, a 9.7% year-on-year increase, the company said.
During the quarter, revenue per ASK (RASK) increased by 5.6 percent compared to the same period of 2015.
Grupo Aeromexico reported an operating profit of MXN385 million, a 0.7 percent year-on-year increase, with an operating margin of 3.1 percent. The company said this represents the 25th consecutive quarter of positive EBIT results.
Second quarter EBITDAR reached MXN2.9 billion, a 22.8 percent year-on-year increase. EBITDAR margin amounted to 23.5 percent, a 2.5 percentage point increase compared to the second quarter of 2015.
Net income reached MXN28 million with a 0.2 percent margin for the second quarter 2016.
