Aeromexico reports 11% increase in September 2016 traffic

Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: AEROMEX) has reported it transported 1.573 million passengers in September, an 11 percent year-over-year increase, the company said.

The company said international passenger numbers increased by 12.4 percent, while domestic passenger numbers increased by 10.3 percent in September.

Revenue passenger kilometers (RPKs) increased by 12.6 percent year-over-year, and capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASKs), increased by 8.2 percent year-over-year.

The airline reported September´s load factor was 80.4 percent, compared to 77.4 percent in September 2015, an increase of 3.0 percent.
