Aeromexico launches conversational commerce with Aerobot

Aeromexico has launched Aerobot, a chatbot (automated system that engages in conversation with a user) for Facebook Messenger, which lets customers search for flight and other information in Spanish or English, the company said.

The company said travelers can use Aerobot to search for Aeromexico and partner flights to obtain flight schedules and pricing. The service also provides flight departure and arrival status and answers frequently asked questions, such as baggage allowances and documents required to travel.

Aerobot is a joint project of Aeromexico and Yalo, a developer of chatbots that supports businesses to sell and build personal relationships via messaging platforms.
