AerCap Holdings N.V. (NYSE: AER) has announced it has signed an agreement with Portugal charter aviation services euroAtlantic Airways for the lease of two used Boeing 787-8 aircraft, the company said.
The aircraft are scheduled to deliver in the spring of 2021, and will be the first 787s to be based in Portugal.
With these new aircraft, euroAtlantic will provide next generation widebody AMCI services to the global market while at the same time enhancing their fleet operations.
AerCap is an aircraft leasing company with 1,334 aircraft owned, managed or on order and USD 43.7 billion of total assets as of December 31, 2019.
