AerCap Holdings reports FY 2017 results

AerCap Holdings N.V. (NYSE:AER) reports financial results for full year 2017 and announces new share repurchase program, the company said.

Net income of USD 266.3 million for the fourth quarter of 2017 and USD 1,076.2 million for the full year 2017, and diluted earnings per share of USD 1.67 for the fourth quarter of 2017 and USD 6.43 for the full year 2017.

For the year, net income was USD 1,076.2 million, compared with USD 1,046.6 million for 2016.

Diluted earnings per share of USD 6.43, compared with USD 5.52 for 2016, an increase of 16%, primarily driven by the repurchase of 48.7 million shares during 2016 and 2017.
