Ad tech company picks Zayo for connectivity solution

A global ad tech company that provides targeted advertising for major global brands has selected Zayo for dark fiber and wavelength connectivity, Zayo said.

The solution leverages Zayo´s US and European networks, including recently acquired assets from Viatel.

Zayo will provide a high-performance 100G wavelength solution connecting data centers in Europe and the US that will serve as the company´s backbone. The dark fiber component includes a route on Zayo´s dense metro fiber in northern California connecting a data center to a key office location.

Over the past decade, ad tech has disrupted the traditional advertising industry, with a model that utilizes programmatic platforms, big data and advanced analytics to deliver individually targeted advertising. Zayo´s capabilities are well positioned to meet the growing infrastructure requirements of the industry, which include high-capacity, low-latency infrastructure to process large volumes of data in real time.
