WestJet reports 82.2% load factor in May 2018




WestJet has announced an 82.2% load factor in May 2018, an increase of 1.6 percentage points year over year, the company said.

Revenue passenger miles (RPMs), or traffic, increased 7.5 per cent year over year, while capacity, measured in available seat miles (ASMs), grew 5.4 per cent over the same period. WestJet welcomed an additional 147,000 guests in May, a year-over-year increase of 7.5 per cent.

Together with WestJet´s regional airline, WestJet Encore, the company offers scheduled service to more than 100 destinations in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe and to more than 175 destinations in over 20 countries through airline partnerships.
