Accelleran has collaborated with AirHop Communications in ultra-dense small cell deployments with self-organizing network (SON) to achieve double digit capacity increases, the company said.
Specifically, the companies are jointly supporting an on-going US trial which has yielded data throughput gains of more than 75% for users under significant inter-cell interference using Accelleran´s E101 Outdoor Small Cell based on Cavium technology and AirHop´s flagship eSON system.
Accelleran is enabling low-cost, carrier-grade local area solutions for large-scale small cell deployments across FDD and TDD bands, specifically focused on new worldwide capacity bands in 3.5GHz including CBRS in the US.
