Net income attributable to TDS shareholders and related diluted earnings per share were USD8 million and USD0.07, respectively, for the first quarter of 2016, compared to USD146 million and USD1.33, respectively, in the comparable period one year ago. Year-over-year comparisons are affected by pre-tax gains of USD247 million (USD155 million after-tax) from sales and exchanges of businesses and licenses in 2015.
